It's a skirt, It's a dress - it only takes 2 hours.....

Measure your fabrics width... Divid that in half.
Find the center of the fabric.
Now you need to find the radius of your waist - you will need the circle hole to fit your waist.... To find that number we need to use some math! I got this explanation from http://whatthecraft.com/circle-skirt-tutorial-new-and-improved/ 

radius = circumference divided by 2 times pi

My radius is  5.5 or 5 1/2 inches 
From there use string or just a measuring tape to act as a compass (like the old school math tool) to draw the circle 










Sew the waistband together, I used the presser foot line as my guide

Here is the finished project as a dress....
